A note from the founder
Why I built Gymsense
I'm Brian Laton, the founder and creator of Gymsense. I like working directly with other owners because I understand what it feels like to build a business and be responsible for everything that happens inside it.
Every gym software vendor tells you the same story: that they'll help you get your evenings back, reclaim your day and run your gym with confidence. Let's face it—you're a business owner. You're probably never getting all of your evenings back, and you already know how to run your gym. You should have a software system that makes the operational work easier without making you fight the product along the way.
Why Gymsense exists
Gymsense exists to make the operational side of running an independent gym easier, so owners can spend more of their time on their members, their community and the parts of the business they actually care about.
The software should follow the gym.
I believe software should adapt to the way a gym already operates. We start by understanding how members sign up, how payments and check-ins work, how training is scheduled and what the staff handles manually. Then we configure Gymsense around that operation.
If a workflow misses something that matters to the owner, staff or members, we can change it quickly. That is how the managed client flow at Atlas and the kiosk check-in at Core Wellness came to exist: an owner explained a real situation, we worked through it together and the improvement was ready to use within a day or two.
When you message Gymsense, I personally read and reply. That gives me a clear view of what you and your staff are running into, and it gives you a direct path to someone who can do something about it.
The longer-term ambition
The work in front of us is practical: make it easier to run an independent gym. Over time, I want Gymsense to expand the commerce potential of those businesses by giving owners a stronger foundation for selling memberships, training, classes, products and whatever they choose to build next.
We earn the right to work on that larger ambition by getting the less glamorous things right first. Billing has to work. Member records have to be clear. Check-ins have to suit the community. Owners and staff have to feel that the system is giving time back.
Thanks for taking the time to learn about Gymsense.
I'd genuinely love the chance to see whether we can make some part of running your gym easier, whether that means fixing one small workflow or helping with something much bigger. That's why the first three months are free: you can use Gymsense in the real business and decide for yourself whether it helps.
If you choose to keep going afterward, I'd be thrilled to have you as a customer. If not, that's completely fine too. I'll still be glad we met and had the chance to see if there was something useful we could do together.
