Our Mission
Gymsense was born out of frustration with how current gym software was built. We analyzed each interaction between gyms, their customers, and their software system — check-ins, in-person payments, scheduling, billing, guest passes — and asked a simple question: Why was this built this way?
- Why do members have to touch a dirty keyboard/mouse/iPad every time they check-in?
- Why do gyms need to own a card terminal just to accept in-person payments?
- Why do guests have to spend 10 minutes signing forms and talking to a staff member just to try out the gym?
- Why does it take months to migrate to a new software system?
- Why do current software vendors have such confusing pricing structures?
The answer: Vendors care about their bottom line, not yours. They cram their software full of useless features to justify the high monthly fee. Their technical stack was built and cemented years ago, so even if they wanted to offer features now enabled by the latest technology their infrastructure simply won't support it.
